Prior to joining UBS in 2015 as a First Vice President—Wealth Management, Les Netter was a First Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firm, Citigroup Smith Barney. Les was also an accountant and Certified Public Accountant for over 23 years with various Fortune 500 companies and one ‘Big 8’ CPA firm before entering the financial services industry in 1997.
He is a 1974 graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he earned a Bachelors of Science in accounting. He also attended graduate school at the University of Miami, Florida, is a graduate of the Leadership Miami Development program and has attended Executive Training courses at Babson College, Boston, Massachusetts.
A native of St. Francisville, Louisiana, Les lived in Miami, Florida and Farmington Hills, Michigan prior to relocating to the Atlanta area in 1995. Les was recognized in the 1986 edition of ‘Outstanding Young Men of America’ for his involvement in numerous community, professional and service organizations in the Miami, Florida area.
