John Haber is the Chief Strategy Officer of Transportation Insight Holding Company (TI), combining Transportation Insight and Nolan Transportation Group (NTG), which leverage experience and industry knowledge to accelerate customers’ growth and strengthen their position in the marketplace.
As CSO, John takes the lead on strategic accounts, partnerships and alliances, client advisory and consulting services. His finance background combined with decades of experience working with high volume shippers enables John to provide unique insights on strategic supply chain planning, including distribution model optimization, transportation cost analysis, and carrier contract optimization and compliance. Widely recognized as one of the logistics industry’s foremost thought leaders on transportation spend management, John is the Founder and CEO of Spend Management Experts, which was acquired by Transportation Insight in 2019.
Bringing over 25 years of supply chain experience to his role at Transportation Insight, John has helped some of the world’s leading brands drive greater efficiencies through their supply chain operations while reducing transportation, distribution, and fulfillment costs. He began his career at UPS where he held various executive level positions in corporate finance and corporate strategy. Instrumental in developing pricing and profitability models, he also managed the carrier’s National Accounts Profitability Group focused on UPS top customers.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina.
