Share the Magic Foundation’s Read Across initiative is a citywide reading celebration designed to inspire a love of literacy and promote book ownership among elementary school students in underserved communities. This initiative includes school-wide reading rallies, classroom resources, and engaging virtual content, providing students with a copy of The Magician’s Hat or My Very Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World by Malcolm Mitchell, along with fun, literacy-centered activities.
Corporate and community partners are invited to join this impactful effort by supporting school participation, volunteering as “Mystery Readers,” or sponsoring book distributions and classroom experiences that help bring the magic of reading to life.
