Patricia Adams is Global Head of Supplier Diversity at Equifax, Inc. She also has a Third Party Oversight role which establishes and oversees due diligence standards to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements for Equifax’s third-party engagements. Pat developed and implemented the Equifax Supplier Diversity Program to create opportunities for minority-owned and women-owned businesses to compete for procurement of products and services. Her background in the financial services industry includes extensive experience in Regulatory & Compliance, Vendor Management, Strategic Planning, and Expense Management. Pat spent most of her management career with MetLife, then worked as a Compliance Consultant for Morgan Stanley before moving to Equifax. She began her career with a national “Big 5” Public Accounting firm. Pat earned a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Public Accounting from Pace University. She holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and is a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
Pat co-founded the “Grenada Alumni Initiative” organization with a focus on providing literary resources to her native country of Grenada. Pat is dedicated and committed to serving underprivileged children in underserved communities and leads the initiative to source books for elementary school students and libraries. Her work has generated over 150,000 children’s leisure books for distribution in Grenada. Pat’s work in sharing the joy of reading, making book ownership a reality, and improving children’s literacy was the catalyst to being voted as a member to the Board of Directors of Share the Magic Foundation-Read With Malcolm in 2019. She now serves as Chair of the Foundation’s Advisory Board and leads the effort to build a team of senior executives who would serve as advocates for the Foundation’s mission, values and objectives.
